Kevin and Sue
went on more than one pilgrimage with the people of St Faith's.
The first eight images below show him in the company of friends,
enjoying spiritual and physical
refreshment on pilgrimage to the shrine of Saint Faith, patron of our
church, at Conques, in southern France.
And yes, the final one of that sequence shows him playing... Conquers!
There follow two pictures from the 2008 pilgrimage to the shrine of St
James at Santiago de Compostela,
in Spain. The next one shows him, with St Faith's Men's Group
stalwarts, with the Mayor of Abergele,
none other than Fr Charles Billington, one-time vicar of St Faith's and
an old friend of Kevin and the Group.
The usual suspects are seen again in the sunshine of Yorkshire on their
retreat, and fund-raising at a Church
bazaar where, surprisingly, they were running the Bottle Tombola.
Finally Kevin, a well-known impersonator of Santa Claus, finds that
someone has stolen his beard during the
carol-singing at the United Benefice old folks' Christmas lunch...
