We buy our tea, sugar and coffee at St Faith's
from Traidcraft, which sells the UK's
widest
range of fair trade products, runs life-changing
development projects and campaigns hard to bring
about trade justice.
Traidcraft was founded on Christian principles and
churches play a vital role in helping fight
against justice and poverty.
Traidcraft also helped establish the Fairtrade Foundation
with CAFOD,
Christian
Aid, New Consumer, Oxfam and
World Development Movement in 1992. At
Christmas we sell Traidcraft Christmas cards, some
of which contain Biblical verses (unusually).
Profits from these help Christian Aid and Cafod.
We also host from time to time the Traidcraft
stall run by our sister church, St Mary's Waterloo.
