Scenes from Sunday, Monday and Tuesday of the Festival week 2015 at St Faith's
On Sunday evening St Faith's hosted the annual Churches Together in Waterloo ecumenical Advent service:
the trees and candles glowed in the subdued lighting. Gareth (the lofty one) and Brenda (the other one!) had declared the whole week open earlier.
Monday evening featured the Scout District Sing-a-long, attended by Cubs, Beavers, Leaders and parents from the area.
They were entertained by Robert woods at the piano, leading Christmas songs, a musical narration of The Snowman
and some silly action songs led by Mike Carr and his little helpers from the National Elf Service (!)
Earlier classes from Waterloo Primary School had dropped in to entertain and look around,
while Rick and his little helper performed on his busker's organ.
Above it all, trees put on a colourful show against the background of the High Altar Reredos.
