The Tale of the Trees

Part Three...

On Wednesday evening the monthly meeting of St Faith's Services Family Support  Group
took place in the context of an evening session of the Christmas Tree Festival.
We were visited by an Army Auxiliary band, the C.O. and a group of cadets from Merchant Taylors' Cadet Force,
and a number of visiting servicemen and women and forces chaplains.
A full church of regulars and visitors sang carols and took part in a short but moving service remembering
and praying for the dead and wounded of Iraq and Afghanistan; after Padre George Perera gave the final blessing,
everyone joined in refreshments and socialising amongst the trees.

On Thursday several more parties of school children from local schools visited us and sang to us.

Children from Waterloo Primary School are seen getting ready to perform, and then in full song.
