The
Sunday Schools Shindig!
...
or, If Wet, In The Hall
Sunday, June
24th saw this year's United Benefice Sunday Schools Party afternoon.
Although Crosby largely escaped the prevailing 'Glastonbury' weather,
it was still a bit too wet to roll on the grass in the Vicarage garden,
so the bouncy castle, the games, face painting, creative activities and
the food and drink were transferred to the Church Hall, where,
nevertheless, a thoroughly Good Time was Had by All.
The sun appeared briefly at about
half-time, and we all adjourned to the garden for a treasure hunt and
some group photos (St Mary's; St Faith's; all together now). Then it
was back under cover for the traditional sandwiches, sausage rolls and
cakes before more bouncy castle time.
Highlights of this entertaining and successful afternoon appear below
and, Chris Price hopes, speak for themselves.
