The days around St Faith's Patronal Festival have always been marked by special services and events - and 2008 is no exception,
with celebrations of our patron saint and also our Harvest Festival events.  The packed schedule reads like this... (and some actual pictures are linked at the foot of this page)



Saturday October 4th at 7.30 pm in St Faith's

Patronal Festival Concert

in aid of Classic fm Music Makers Charity, funding music therapy and educational projects helping needy children and vulnerable adults across the U.K

Featuring...

Greg Cuff ('Cello)
Tickets in advance or on the door: £7.50  (concessions £6.50)
... to include an interval  glass of wine.

Harvest Thanksgiving

Family Eucharist and Parade Service



Sunday 5th October at 6.00 pm in St Mary's

Harvest Songs of Praise

... followed by a glass of cider and buffet Harvest Supper



Monday October 6th (St Faith's Day) at 8.00 pm in St Faith's

Procession and Patronal High Mass

Preacher: the Right Reverend Hugh Allan, O.Praem, Prior Administrator, Norbertine Canons, Manchester

Music to include:
Messe Solonelle Vierne
(organists: Richard Lea and Shaun Bowers)
