The 2008
Recitals
Programme
We were delighted to welcome
some
new musicians this year and responded to last year’s customer
feedback by adding in more soloists and a jazz band. In addition, we
were pleased to welcome back our former Director of Music, Gerard
Callacher, to play for us on 23 August. Easter was early in 2008, so
there were even more concerts than usual!
The season proved highly successful, with an average of 72 people
attending each week, and numbers sometimes exceeding 100.
