QUESTION TIME
AT SAINT FAITH'S

The evening of Saturday, November 27th saw our Church Hall full of competitors eating and drinking - and taking part in a Quiz Night organised by St Faith's Men's Group. The main aim of the evening was to raise money for the annual Senior Citizen's Christmas Lunch at St Faith's. As a result of the evening's proceeds, a generous donation and two raffles, some £600 has been raised, so that the more mature members of our two churches (that means aged 70+!) will be able to eat in style in a couple of weeks' time.

During the course of the evening, intrepid volunteer Paul Jones rashly agreed to be the victim of a Sponsored Leg Wax to raise money for Children in Need, and, thanks to the support of those attending, he raised a goodly sum. Watch this space for details for the final amount, and news of his eventual return to full and hairy health. We are grateful to him, and of course those who laid on the entertainment and the food, for providing so painless a way of raising funds for good causes.

Geoff Moss's candid camera recorded the event for the waiting world. Click on any picture for twice the satisfaction.
