The great festival of Pentecost - Whit Sunday, the Birthday of the Church - was celebrated at Saint Faith's on May 15th, 2005, with colour, ceremony - and cakes.

The Church was decked with birthday balloons and, at the end of the 11.00 High Mass, birthday cakes large and small were distributed to the congregation by members of the Junior Church, suitably decked out with flame-coloured hats and festoons.
