'If Wet, in the Hall!'
... and it was this
year
The day the sun shone on the righteous ... for a time,
anyway!
The 2005 joint Sunday Schools party started off, as is traditional, in the vicarage garden in a heatwave. However, it looks as though someone had been doing a rain dance somewhere in the area, because the party finished up in the church hall after a downpour.
Our first two pictures show the children queuing up for assorted goodies in the garden while the sun still shone.
The third one was taken soon after indoors, with the helpers posing
for a picture while the children, who were happy to fill their faces anywhere,
tucked in behind!
