The final event took place in St Mary’s Church Hall, Waterloo Park.
Children from both Sunday Schools came together for their Christmas Party.
Father Christmas dropped in as usual with presents for everyone, the usual sandwiches,
crisps, cakes and jellies were consumed, and the afternoon ended with entertainment by a clown.
Mr Trix, together with a rabbit and with the help of various children, performed a non-stop routine
of magical tricks, jokes and comic routines, culminating in a big bang to send everyone home.
The pictures show  the fun and games before the adults cleaned up ready for the next event.
It won’t be long before the hall is packed out for performances of
the United Benefice Dramatic Society 2004 Pantomime.
