The Deanery Eucharist 2015 contd

At the climax of the service, after the robed contingents had communicated, the congregation took communion at different points around the church.
As the liturgy drew to its close, Bishop Paul donned his episcopal mitre for the procession out, and to pose with the wardens,
Sue and Area Dean Roger Driver, by the font. A fine feast of food awaited everyone in the Hall, with drinks (alcoholic and temperate)
at the back of church, which also served as an impromptu cafe. Finally, the Bishop and the Vicar lent a hand at the kitchen sink
 before we all tidied up and went home, more than happy.
