The Day we went to Bushey - part two

We see him kneeling with the Bishop of St Albans, above.
Below are pictures of the incoming procession and the new incumbent taking his vows
of allegiance before moving to the back of church with the Archdeadon.
Duly installed, he is greeted by church and local dignitaries, and children of St James Youth Club.
After the procession left church, we walked through the sunny streets to a nearby School for the traditional refreshments.
Here Fr Neil greeted those who had made the long pilgrimage from Liverpool,
as well as a party of ordinands and clergy from the College of the Resurrection, Mirfield.
Finally, he boarded the coach to bid farewell before we headed back up the motorways to Crosby.
